I wanted to like this book. I wanted a quick-read, turnkey guide to the major social media outlets. I was so disappointed. In terms of format, the book has no linked table of contents. It's just a mash-up of the individual books (which each have their own tables of contents). That's trivial compared to the quality of the writing. I am an eager reader and can typically find something to love about almost any book. Not this one. The depth of thought and the writing style make this seem like a term paper written by a lethargic high school student. The author states only the obvious and offers no help for implementation. The text has apparently not been professionally edited, but even the most neophyte author should know to include basic punctuation, to make subjects agree with verbs in number, to avoid passive voice, and to eliminate run-on sentences. Take the money you would have spent on this, go buy a burrito and a soda, and spend a half-hour on any social media platform. You'll get more for your money.
