Donna Phinney was a Certified Dental Assistant and Program Director for the Dental Assisting Program at Spokane Community College. Recently deceased, she devoted her 20-year career to the dental field as a dental assistant and office manager, and later to consulting and teaching. She earned her BA from Eastern Washington University and MEd from Whitworth College. Ms. Phinney was a fellow of the American Dental Assistants Association, where she served as a consultant and an appointed commissioner, as well as an active member of the Washington State Dental Assisting Association.

I'm taking a dental assisting class right now and this book is required. It is very educational, I just wish I had more time to sit down and read it. I tend to get discouraged since the book is HUGE. None the less, it is a good book, especially for those taking on a dental assisting course.
Covers what I wanted to review. Will be a valuable resource to have on hand. I like the review/quiz activities provided on the CD even though there are several mistakes in that material, the book itself is a good reference book.
I was never even able to use this. THere is no code, you cannot use it on your own, you must have a number or something from your instructor to make use of this. WASTE OF MONEY, never got a cents worth of worth from this, but wasted a heck of alot of time trying to get this thing to work..... Dont bother unless perhaps your instructor tells you to purchase this.
