DAVID GIBBINS is the New York Times bestselling author of seven previous historical adventure novels that have sold almost three million copies and are published in thirty languages. I have enjoyed all of David Gibbins' works. I have toured Ancient Carthage and feel that he brings life to the period there and in thefinal era of the Roman empire.
Cool book, descriptions of battles are amazing. They battles are described very vividly and are also very intense. I really recommend to those who want to know some history but also seek to read something entertaining
A continuation from the first book of the series with some of the same characters and the plot thickens with history and individual character rolls
It was a fun, enjoyable read. If you like historical fiction and Total War, I recommend you read this. The one con is that it is not as well structured as the first Total War novel, but there was not as much to draw on for the period.
The book was a good read. I really enjoyed the Battle for Carthage with the unleashing of the killer dogs.

Great book. Only reason it got 4 stars, was the short ending.
Well researched and well written. It gave a good picture of both the Roman culture and Attila's and got me do more non-fiction reading on period.
